Pre Law Society
The Pre Law Society is the University of South Alabama’s student organization for students interested in a career in law or those who are considering attending law school. The organization meets monthly and offers workshops and forums for law school admissions questions and programs featuring guest speakers affiliated with law schools. For students interested in joining the the Pre-Law Society, please contact University Pre-Law Advisor, Dr. Shanita L. Pettaway, at pettaway@southalabama.edu.

Pre-Law Society Meetings
Great News! For everything, there is a season. Accordingly, the Pre-Law Society is in a continued season of revival which began last year. The University Pre-Law Advisor cordially invites students who are interested in Pre-Law to attend Pre-Law Society Meetings which will be held on Wednesdays: September 25, 2024, October 23, 2024, November 20, 2024, and December 4, 2024 at 630p in Student Center, 205.
All who are interested in joining or continuing membership in the Pre-Law Society are encouraged to attend. These meetings are important and necessary in order to effectively establish an updated membership roster, discuss official organizational protocol, and develop a strategic plan for future organizational efforts.
Ask An Advisor: Pre-Law Edition
This semester, the Pre-Law Advising Team cordially invites students who are interested in Pre-Law to Ask An Advisor: Pre-Law Edition. This advisor hour will be held in Humanities Building (HUMB) 216 C, Pre-Law Conference Room, 12p-1p, on the following dates:
