Study programs not ABET-accredited

The Bachelor of Science degree program in Aerospace Engineering at the University of South Alabama is a newly established program that began in the fall of 2024. Currently, the BS Aerospace Engineering degree is not accredited by ABET, https://www.abet.org. However, the program is proactively preparing for its first scheduled ABET review, which will take place after our first class of students graduates. If the review is successful, we will seek retroactive ABET accreditation to include graduates from the two years prior to the initial accreditation.

Graduate degrees (M.S., Ph.D.) and Graduate Certificates in Engineering at the University of South Alabama are not accredited by ABET, https://www.abet.org.
