The ILC offers a variety of workshops and seminars that address teaching strategies and instructional technologies. Our workshops typically take place in the ILC Multipurpose Room, located in the main building, unless otherwise noted. The workshops are also available on our calendar. Questions? HyFlex Series: How to put the "Flex" in HyFlex | Monday, September 23 | 12:30pm - 1:30pm | Zoom

Learner choice is one of the universal principles of HyFlex course design. In this session, we will discuss why providing choice is beneficial for both students and universities and share practical strategies for offering meaningful alternative participation modes.

LevelUP Your Assignments with the Transparent Assignment Framework | Monday, September 30 | 2:00pm - 3:00pm

Designed with clarity, equity, and student success in mind, the simple, yet effective Transparent Assignment Framework fosters clear communication between instructors and students by specifying the purpose, task, and criteria of assignments. This interactive workshop is designed to help you:

• Align assignments with the 8 NACE Career Readiness Competencies: Identify specific behaviors employers seek and help students develop them!
• Utilize the evidence-based Transparent Assignment Framework: Make expectations clear, promote student success, and boost engagement.
• Leverage the LevelUP Toolkit: Access valuable resources like a Transparent Assignment Template and NACE Competency icons to support your teaching and student learning.
