UTeach South Scholarship

To remove barriers associated with obtaining a certificate for teaching science or mathematics in the State of Alabama, UTeach South offers scholarships in addition to the scholarships for the initial introductory courses, EDU 125 Step 1 Inquiry Based Learning and EDU126 Step 2 Inquiry Based Lesson Design!

We will be awarding scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.  This scholarship is open to UTeach South students who are currently enrolled in or have completed two UTeach South courses.

  • If you currently are not enrolled or have completed two UTeach South courses there are still options for you to qualify for these scholarships!
  • If you are currently enrolled in Step 1 (EDU 125), you can enroll in Knowing and Learning (EDU 325) or Philosophy of Science (BLY 327).
  • If you have completed Step 1 in a previous semester, you can enroll in Step 2 (EDU 126), Knowing and Learning (EDU 325), and/or Philosophy of Science (BLY 327).
